In the early 1990s, Xu Shaochun (Founder of Kingdee) independently developed Aipu Computer Accounting System V1.0, putting an end to the complete reliance of foreign-invested enterprises on imported financial management software. In 1993, Xu Shaochun founded Kingdee.
1993 -
Kingdee embraced the Windows platform and released China's first Windows-based financial software, empowering 12 million finance professionals to move beyond the abacus.
1996 -
With a CNY20 million investment from International Data Group, Kingdee became the first company in China's financial software sector to bring in venture capital—a milestone that marked its full-scale entry into the enterprise management software market.
1998 -
Kingdee K/3, China's first internet-based three-tier ERP system, was released and selected as a National Torch Program project.
1999 -
Kingdee was the first Chinese independent software vendor to list on an international stock exchange and enter the global capital market when it debuted on Hong Kong's GEM Board (stock code: 8133). In 2005, Kingdee was successfully transferred to the Main Board with the new stock code 0268.HK.
2001 -
Youshang.com was officially launched. With a forward-looking vision, Kingdee ventured into SaaS by launching China's first online financial software.
2007 -
Kingdee officially launched its cloud transformation, fully expanding into mobile Internet, social networking, cloud computing, and big data. "Software is the past; cloud is the future."
2012 -
Kingdee signed a global strategic collaboration agreement with Amazon Web Services, accelerating the development of China's enterprise cloud computing market and the building of the cloud computing ecosystem.
2015 -
On August 8, during Kingdee's 25th anniversary gala, Kingdee launched China's first cloud-native, enterprise-level PaaS—Kingdee Cloud Cosmic.
2018 -
On May 7, Kingdee launched Kingdee Cloud Constellation HR Cloud, ushering in a new era of HR management.
2022 -
On August 8, to celebrate Kingdee's 30th anniversary, Kingdee launched the industry's first financial LLM, marking a new phase in its transformation into an AI-powered enterprise management company.
2023 -
Kingdee has rebuilt the Cosmic Platform with AI, accelerating AI innovation and the deployment of practical application scenarios. As a result, Kingdee Cloud Cosmic has been upgraded to a next-generation enterprise-level AI platform. Kingdee established an international business center in Singapore and opened a branch in Qatar in 2025.
